My World Tuesday: Knock Knock

This young female elk was wandering around the houses in town and tried to get away from some dogs by standing on this porch. We do have wildlife encounters right here in town sometimes.

Photo taken by our friend Rick.

Poor thing must have been terrified of the dogs! It's a cute pic though.

That's got to be a unique photo! I hope no one chose to come out the front door about then.

Wow! I thought that was a statue at first. What a surprise if you opened your door and an elk was standing on your porch. But maybe you folks are used to such things! ;-)

Hope it got back to the wilds safely.

That's an amazing picture. Did they let it in and give it a cup of tea?

That is so awesome. The only wildlife encounters we have here near Dallas is of big mosquitoes :)

That is SO wild! I've seen elk, but they've never called for tea.

That's a great photo! Hopefully she got off the porch okay and was none the worse for wear.

Wow! I thought it was a statue too. That must be an awesome thing to see when you open your door! I hope she found her way back out of town.
