I know I'd want to keep my dog away from any porcupines, that's a funny photo. You live in a truly beautiful region. I've never made it to southwest Colorado, I need to do so soon.
This is a joke, right? After your picture the other day, I would think the porcupine would be more interesting in conning people out of food rather than attacking the source of his goodies!
I guess someone thought this would be funny. It is a cute sign! I think ski patrol and the National Forest people wish people would just stay away from the porcupine and stop feeding him, though.
Originally the location for a summer camp by Ute Indians, then a mining camp called Columbia, Telluride became a town in 1878. This remote town in the San Juan Mountains became part of the National Historic Landmark District in 1964, and later became a destination ski resort. There are many year-round activities to enjoy in the beautiful surroundings of the mountains, and after only one visit to Telluride, it will become a part of you forever.

Welcome to my blog! I live in beautiful Telluride, Colorado with my husband and three kids. I started blogging for family and friends to keep up with what we have been doing and it has kind of turned into an on-line diary for myself also full of my favorite photos.

Surely you don't need that sign just for this little guy!

Very funny, though.

It's hard to resist feeding wildlife sometimes. What a great sign!
It is hard to not feed such a friendly and cute little critter, but I guess he does need to be able to find food on his own without help.
Funny sign! The porcupine doesn't seem too scary, but he may become a bit of a pest...
