Winter at Blue Lake

My husband took this photo when he and my nephew hiked up to Blue Lake on Monday. It is definitely winter at 12,200 feet.

I think it is always winter at that height.

I guess it will freeze over soon and get covered with snow.

Maybe the next hike up there will be in spring because it looks like the snow will be too deep up there pretty darn soon!

Looks chilly to me do you ice skate on the lake in winter?

Wow! Postcard. National Geographic! At first I thought it was Alaska.

Kudos to hubby!

My mind can't even grasp the concept of 12,200 feet! So it has snow all year round?

It's a lovely photo. And the lake looks so still!
