Whistle While You Work

This guy was actually whistling as he shoveled the sidewalk yesterday in front of Baked In Telluride. I wonder if he will still be whistling come January and February? For the first big snowstorm of the season, most people I encounter are happy and smiling.

Nice shot Lisa. Looks like there's an Irish Pub right next door, so that should keep him whistling all winter!

It's like a scene from a Christmas card! Beautiful!

It's actually an international rule that says that you have to whistle while shovelling snow.

I felt a bit of a chill looking at this one. :-)

The whistlers are all thinking about getting on the ski slopes...

I saw on The Weather Channel where places around Denver had gotten up to 38" of snow. I can't imagine! Your photo is beautiful all decked out in snow!

This is beautiful! I would love to be in this scene. It's a winter wonderland in October...

I usually enjoy the first snow, even the second, but month after month of snow removal just gets a little old. I won't be whistling in February but maybe he will be...some people are just naturally cheerful.

We only got 6" of snow yesterday and some snow flurries today. But the temps are way down in the teens and that is the worst. I don't mind the snow (at least the first few times) but please don't let my temps get down below 20...make that 30! lol!

All of the water buckets up at the barn were frozen this morning and we couldn't break the ice fast enough until they were frozen over again.

Great pic, by the way :)

Snow is so nice...at the start of winter!

I've noticed that phenomenon, too...by the time February rolls around, there's a lot more cursing than whistling!
