I liked this shot of the tipi at the St. Sophia Nature Center with the big sky and Palmyra Peak behind it. The building on the left is the top of lift 7. Bald Mountain is on the right, which is the one my husband hiked and skied last winter. He hopes to hike and ski Palmyra Peak this winter. To see more beautiful skies all over the world, please visit SkyWatch Friday.

Great image
A teepee against the sky and mountains might be from 100 years ago. Beautiful sky and great shot.
Those photos make me want to get up and get outside.. Thanks
This makes a lovely scene!
Lovely image, beautiful sky and clouds and the teepee adds the perfect touch!
Have a great weekend!

It's so rustic and peaceful looking. Great SWF pic!
Feel free to visit me: Picture This . . .
that is a great shot, I love the Tee-Pee.
Love those big fluffy clouds!
A nice shot, I like your alpine vistas. I enjoyed this whole series and I am wondering if I will be able to fit a visit to your area into a future trip. Colorado is a long way from California but all you Colorado bloggers make me yearn for one last visit.
Great photo....what a beautiful background for that scene...nice looking sky as well...
Wow, it is pretty there. I like that you gave a bit of history of the place on your blog. Nice shot.
The whole photo is nice, but I particularly love the sky -- nice blue with white clouds.
Love the cloud formation! The perfect backdrop for the teepee!
Excellent composition, juxtaposing the tipi with the mountains in the background. Looks like a lovely day, too!
Beautiful, Lisa! Palmyra Peak sort of repeats the tipi theme!
To do the right thing and have intimate friends are a happy thing ~
