SkyWatch Friday: A Night With the Moon

Earlier this week we camped in the San Juan National Forest near the Animas Forks ghost town, elevation 11,000 feet above sea level. The moon was so bright that my youngest daughter didn't even notice we didn't have our little solar powered night light. As for camping at 11,000 feet, yes, it does get cold! I'm sure the temperature dropped to below 40 degrees Fahrenheit that night.

What a lovely night! I like the additional circular movements the tent and jeep provide.
