The Pool

The swimming pool in Town Park is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is only $2 for kids and $4 for adults, and thank goodness it is heated to 83 degrees. We still have chilly nights and the sun isn't on the pool all day long, so the extra help with the temperature is needed.

It's amazing to me that a pool would have to be heated in the summertime! My next door neighbor's pool feels like bath water this time of year. I would love to swim in a pool surrounded by that kind of scenery!

That certainly looks refreshing! I bet it can feel a little chilly when it is shaded.

Wonderful photo with great colors...my first thought was "Nah...they can't swim in Telluride!"

Hah. 83 degrees sounds good. Our pool right now is about 86 degrees! We're have a terrible time keeping the chemicals aligned.

Have a great evening, Lisa!

The canal behind my house in The Keys reaches 90 degrees. We often joke about it poaching fish before catching them.
