Pinzgauers

A few of the 4-wheeling trails are open and ready for these Pinzgauers. They look like so much fun, but we've never taken one of their tours since we have two Jeeps of our own that can go anywhere around here.

This is the first time I've seen or heard of a Pinzgauer. It looks odd, but fun and sturdy at the same time!

I've never heard of or seen these Pinzgauers! Doesn't mean anything 'cause there's lots of stuff I've never seen or heard about...

...but I'd like to take a tour in these things so long as they didn't get too high or on too steep roads...

Nice shot, Lisa. And thanks for commenting on our blogs! Much appreciated!

Oh boy, Jacob, you wouldn't like the Jeep trails that these go on at all!! Steep, very high, very rough roads and tons of fun!! Jeep trails are really what brought me to want to live here.

We took a couple of tours in Mexico in this type of vehicle. They called them Mexican Hummers. On one tour, it got stuck in the sand in some old gully. Very fun!

The 10,000 year history of the Valley Floor is very interetsing. Thanks for attaching it in the previous post. An amazing, long, history of disputes and victory in the end.

Solo 4-wheeling is more fun.
