SkyWatch Friday

It was a cloudy day when we drove up to Woods Lake on Monday. Tuesday the skies were much the same in my second photo on the river trail at the east end of Telluride. Naturally, the skies cleared and the days have been warmer since then while I've been trapped inside working!

Update on our spring conditions: The bears are awake! Apparently two black bears came down the ski run right next to where I live earlier this week. I'm kind of sad that I missed it.

For more stormy or clear, definitely beautiful skies all over the world, please visit SkyWatch Friday.

I particularly like the second shot--makes me want to see what's over the hill.....

I like the clouds! Too bad you missed the bears Lisa. I wouldn't mind seeing bears as long as I was watching them from inside the house!

So is winter over? It looks like you'll have fresh spring growth on those trees pretty soon...thanks for sharing from your neck of the woods!

Very nice. I love the one with the path. I am sorry you missed the bears too. That would have made for some great photos -- taken from a distance of course ;)

Love that path!! You live in such a scenic area. Sorry you missed the bears. I would have loved to seen a bear. We have bears here but I have yet to see one and I get out in the woods alot. Actually they are no longer in the woods, they spend most of their time terrorizing the city folks!!!!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful area.

No more snow, so spring is sprung. Soon it will all be lovely and green.

Sad that you missed the bears???

My favorite shot is the second... the fence and stone work create awesome lines! I am drawn into the shot!

We all are looking through your blog pictures at all the changes there. We still see some of the old landmarks

The Mountain Village has really grown. I think I have only seen it twice. Both times it was a wide open grassy park. The Peak Spa & Lodge was there.

Here's hoping the bears will make another appearance.

Beautiful river trail photo, Lisa.
I would loved to have seen the bears, too. I bet they are very hungry this time of year. :)
