My World Tuesday: Hiking the Jud Wiebe Trail

The Jud Wiebe trail is a local's favorite on the sunny side (north) of town. I saw a few aspen leaves blooming yesterday and also hiked through some snow.

I like the way the sun is illuminating those clouds in the first picture!

Beautiful place to take a hike. Your spring should be just around the corner if you are seeing buds.

Wow! These are beautiful views. When do you expect more leaves? Will they pop out all at once. Ours just popped recently, within the last week.

Hi Lisa,
I can't believe it's 82 degrees there! All your snow should be gone soon. Glad to see that CO blue sky. I think it snowed in Breckenridge over the weekend...luckily, I'm vacationing in CA!

All of the aspen trees should have leaves by June. The trees that are in the shade bloom last.

To hike is to breathe. Like the grass hummocks in the lower photo--wet meadow?

The second photo is above the summit of the trail, probably goes up to about 11,000 feet where the trees are.
