It's so hard to look at your SWF and then look out the window here in San Ramon and see sunny blue skies and know that it's going to be another warm spring day! Thanks for sharing your weather via this great shot! At least you can go skiing, right?

Looks very cold there. Thankfully, we are almost past those scenes and just moving into better weather.

We had thunderstorms last night and lots of rain and lightening.

At least it prolongs the ski season! I don't envy that weather, however!

The photo is lovely. The cold of winter is shown beautifully.

No color in the sky, but a ski resort would probably prefer snow to blue sky anyway.

You've made it appear beautiful and mystical despite the dreariness you are probably feeling regarding the sky. Great capture!

Lisa: It is still a beautiful area covered in this Spring snowstorm.

A nice photo of an overcast day...that house/lodge has a beautiful setting tucked in those trees...

It sure is hanging on there, isn't it! The snow looks so incredible!!!

Very picturesque even though it looks cold. I'm sure a skier's heaven! Unfortunately I tried skiing and snowboarding in Aspen when my sister-in-law got married there and was horrible, exhausting too....and we were in good shape. I think you really have to do it when you're young and keep doing it! I wish I could live there but the altitude really made us sick and we even took meds beforehand. Great photo and love your header picture! Beautiful!

My goodness! That's not Florida! At least you like skiing and this makes good skiing possible, right?

Well Sunday is my last day to ski and it would have been awesome if this dust storm hadn't moved in. We're experiencing some very strange conditions right now.

A dust storm on top of snow sounds very unusual!

What a beautiful scene. Makes me want to watch from beside a warm fireplace with a hot cappuccino which is what I'll be doing Saturday since we are getting more snow in the Springs too!

wow, i have only seen two snowstorms in my life so I find your photo quite intriguing. I am glad you enjoyed the Chihuly Saffron Tower and yes, you would love to hike up to Hole in the Rock. it is not a hard hike but it is pretty on the red rock and you get quite a view of the Valley and its mountains. It is not cheesey.

Amazing photo, strange weather indeed!
The longest winter I have seen here for a long time... we just received another 6 inches of snow which by now we should have had flowers popping up...
