Open House

This ski-in, ski-out home has been for sale all of ski season. They often display the big "OPEN HOUSE" sign in hopes skiers will enter the back door for a tour. I thought about going in, but taking off my skis and boots just seemed like a pain to look at a house I can't afford. I haven't priced this one, but I'm sure it is at least a couple million or more.

The housing market is tough everywhere I guess! My daughter is trying to sell her house and had an open house yesterday. I'm scared to ask her how it went.

It's certainly a grand-looking place.

I discovered Telluride.
A mountainous area which seems wonderful.

Beautiful place, but a little out of the way, "location, location, location" both positive and neg.

It does look like an incredible place to live...but, like you say, how does one afford such a thing?

Great photo, Lisa!

It looks beautiful, but I wouldn't bother going in, either. I know it's out of my price range...

Oh Lisa!! Next time just go in! And take pics! I enjoy going to open houses, even if the home is out of my prive range. You can often get ideas on what you'd like in your own future house and it's even fun to dream.

For instance I will never climb Mt Everest, Mt. Kilamajoro or Mt McKinley, but I enjoy reading books about others who have. It's like escaping to someplace that can only be in my dreams, but they are good dreams, so it feels wonderful to think about them, too.

So live on the edge, girlfriend!
Ski in to that house and tell us about it! :)
