Milk Run

This last full week of March has turned out to be a snowy one. The ski area is reporting 16 inches so far this week, and an even bigger storm is on it's way today. The ski run straight ahead is Milk Run. Last week the lower part was closed for a few days for lack of snow. I think it is open again today, but I haven't seen anyone on it.

Great shot, Lisa! Dramatic! My daughter in Cotopaxi tells me they're look at a bunch of snow, too. Even Canon City, which is very unusual!

Stay warm!

It really is a pretty picture and a kind of dream come true for people who love this stuff.

We've had quite a bit of snow today and some car wrecks in the county, but no blizzard conditions like they are experiencing in the Denver area. They really need the moisture in the Front Range, but people need to stay in and stop driving!

My mom is also happy for the snow (in Salida). As you say, it's very dry in that area this year. I guess March is going out like a big, white, fluffy lamb!

It almost like the road continues up the mountain. Nice photo. We finally got some snow!

I just heard on the morning news that Colorado got hit pretty hard with snow yesterday and over night. One last downfall before the coming spring?
