Telluride Winter SnowFest

This past weekend was the Telluride Winter SnowFest complete with snow sculptures around the ski area. I loved this one and wish I had been able to take photos of it before it was in the shade.

Still it came out pretty nicely. Can I ask what camera(s) you use?

My camera is a simple Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P10. I'd like to get a newer version of this same camera sometime this year.

That's a terrific sculpture -- I think the details photographed very well. Maybe it's because it sat so still while having its picture taken. :-)

WoW now that's awesome - such patients it must take to do that!!!

That's fantastic, Lisa! If you ever meet the artist, tell him/her I think the snow sculpture's wonderful!

I love the attention to detail, and I often wonder how people manage to do such a good job of snow sculpting, but not enough to try it on my own.
Good photos, too!
