On Monday of this week, most people around here took a break from skiing because it was RAINING!!! Yes, raining in February in a ski town. Most of us had the same expression on our faces as this dog. Luckily it was snowing up at the higher elevations of the ski area and the rain on the lower runs didn't do too much damage.Thursday, February 26, 2009
Taking a Break

The dogs body language is a mix of relaxed and expectant. Cute.
Enzo, is that you? From THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN. A book I read while in Aspen Last November. Couldn't help myself. I'm a dog person and it is the first thing I thought of. Very cute dog.
Awww he's so cute!
Living in the great Pacific North"wet", I can relate to this dog! However, we had a surprise snowfall overnight & school is closed today. Wonders never cease.
Awww - poor thing is locked up - where's his owner? I so hope they came back & got him!!!
The owner was probably at lunch. This is a common scene for Telluride! We have dog parking all over the place. :)
Is this your dog? Reminds me of our Golden. It looks tied up, but also like it could easily get into the street.
Priceless photo!
Nope, not my dog. :(
Oh my goodness your photography is amazing. What a spectacular area,
thank you for sharing.
He needs a doggie umbrella.
Oh please don't tell me that he was left outside in the rain! Poor, cute doggie!
I believe the expression on your face was the same as ours when it snowed in the Lisbon area a couple of years ago! :-))) The previous time was 52 years ago!...
He was okay, Hilda. You have to be tough to be a dog in Telluride. :)
