SkyWatch Friday

We had a major snowstorm this week that truly delighted all of the skiers and snowboarders. I stopped under lift 10 to take a photo of the very brief break in the clouds. My husband is on the left skiing down the double black run, Holy Cow. We had almost 2 feet of snow dumped on us in 48 hours.

The current snow report for the ski area shows a season total of 214 inches, and that is just since November.

Beautiful shot! You have been getting a lot of snow! Wow! What a great place you live in. How fun. Love your other photos, too. Hi from rainy NorCal.

Wow! You live in such a beautiful area! All our snow is gone here in NJ, due to some warm and windy days. And we very rarely get 24" at one time. Yikes!

What a beautiful shot!

Absolutely stunning pics of your wintry world. Snow at it's best, pristine and beautiful. I love snow, but sadly in the city it soon looses it's lustre.

You're having a great snow year! Nice to have a big snow to delight the powder skiers. Beautiful photo of the lifts and cloudy skies.

Original skywatch post. You seem to love the snow unlike a lot of other people, but I guess understandably so.

I do love the snow, but I admit when ski season is over around April 6, I want the snow to melt immediately! We have to wait a good 2 months for my favorite hiking and Jeep trails to melt off.

Excellent shot & 214 inches! Holy Cow (hehehe)! It would probably take 10 years for us to get 10 inches around here!!!

Very nice photo. You've probably had enough snow to ski, hey? Hah!
My daughter lives at 9000 feet in Cotopaxi and they've had very little snow this year...which makes her unhappy as she loves to ski.

Awesome photo! But really, the snow needs to stay up there!!! LOL...
Unfortunately, it's falling here as well, temps are plummeting here in the Rockies, winter has draped its cloak over our teensy city.... I was hoping we were in for a early Spring but no such thing!

Happy Valentine's Day♥

I guess that much snow is good news if you're a skier. Brrrrrr. Great photo, even if I feel a little dizzy looking at it!
