Here are a few more photos taken by my husband when he skied Revelation Bowl. The photo above was taken when he stopped on a run inside the Bowl. In the photo below, you can see Telluride just right of center.

Nice pics! Have you experienced that there's less snow in the mountains nowadays due to global warming, or is it the same? Over here the glaciers are melting rapidly.
Lisa, those are gorgeous photos. I get kinda tingly looking at them 'cause the thought of being up that high and sliding down the mountain gives me the willies.
Kudos to hubby!
Everyone here was worried about global warming, but we had record-breaking snowfall in December and average January and February. It has been warm this week and had one day of rain which is very, very unusual for February, making everyone concerned about global warming again.
Lisa, some people think of global warming as having to do with the weather...and it does; but more importantly, it's about climate change, which is occurring much more rapidly and intensely than we've ever know. The interesting thing is that may make for different weather: colder winters in some places and hotter summers in others.
Right now, as I write this, parts of Miami Beach are under water at high tide! Some scientists figure that will be the scenario for low-lying areas all over the globe by 2012.
The crazy thing is, they keep building high rises in Miami Beach as if there's nothing to worry about, while the water swirls at the foundations!
Steep! And gorgeous!
I knew Telluride was in a valley but didn't realize it was surrounded by THAT BIG OF MOUNTAINS! WOW!
As usual, I love it!
Those are some STEEP mountain sides. Makes me a little light-headed.
