Bus Stop

When I have my youngest daughter with me to go skiing, we ride the free Galloping Goose to get to the gondola. This little bus stop has a heater and a place to sit inside. I even accidentally caught a reflection of myself taking the photo.

I can see you Lisa! This is so cute! It looks like something out of the old west except for the door and the trashcan. I love the Galloping Goose logo over the door.

Enjoy that fresh powder. How sweet that you ski with your daughter. Not a bad place to live!!!

The Galloping Goose!!! hehehe! That's funny! I see there's not as much snow there as there was - is it ALREADY melting in Colorado?

They keep the snow pretty well shoveled around the bus stops. We've had 16 inches in the past 48 hours!

"Galloping Goose" — I like that! And the logo really looks it! Wonder where they got that idea :D

Sounds like the coziest bus stop ever!

The name comes from the seven gasoline engine rail buses that traveled over the railroads in the San Juan Mountains from the 1930's to the 1950's.

A bus stop with a heater inside - ah civilisation - never heard tell of a heated bus shelter before.

Beautiful little structure. I really enjoy visiting your blog as it reminds me of my one trip to Telluride many years ago. Maybe someday I'll make it to the bluegrass festival. Thanks for visiting GDP. Cheers!
