Bear Creek Falls Frozen

The Bear Creek Falls trail is so popular that right after snowfall it has enough traffic to pack down the snow making it ready to hike and walk your dog up to the falls. Below is a photo that I posted previously from our hike in June. There will be back country skiers dropping into the canyon soon, also, then skiing all the way down the trail to town.

Wow, what a difference. Winter has arrived.

They're equally beautiful, Winter and Summer. I guess the town must be getting busy now. does it fill up for Thanksgiving?

Town does fill up and get busier around the holidays, but I hear that reservations are way down, due to the economy, I'm sure.

Amazing pictures--I love seeing the difference with the change of seasons.

Wow, Telluride has more snow than my local Laplata Canyon does at this moment! Was hiking at the same altitude of 8800ft, but only a few inches of snow on the ground. Looks like a spotty snow season for parts of the San Juans.

Wish we had snow like that here. What a great catch!
