Popcorn Alley

Popcorn Alley was the area of town that was the red light district in the late 1800s. It was named Popcorn Alley because the doors opening and closing constantly sounded like popcorn popping. To keep this a family friendly blog, that's all I'm going to say about this little bit of history.

Your last line got me laughing out loud! Very interesting history. :D

Love the colors of that door! Especially against the simple, white walls.

I bet the kiddies today think it's where popcorn was 1st served in town. I'm getting a great feel of the place from your photos.
