Wilson Peak, Elevation 14,017 Feet Above Sea Level

Wilson Peak is my favorite mountain and sits in Telluride's backyard. I took this from highway 145. It is one of Colorado's most popular 14ers and has been used in advertising by Jeep and Coors, most popularly as the picture on the Coors can. There are 53 official 14ers (mountains that have an elevation of higher than 14,000 feet) in Colorado and Wilson Peak ranks #48. I'm sure I will post many more photos of this mountain, especially during ski season when I'm on the ski lifts on a regular basis.

I live near the Great Smoky Mountains in East TN....they in no way compare in elevation to your mountains. This photo is just beautiful!
