North Oak House

The North Oak House was built in 1900 and managed to survive the Cornet Creek flood of 1914. Cornet Creek continues to be a concern and flooded some houses as recent as July 2007. This house has been restored to its original condition and is on the National Register of Historic Homes.

This is such a gorgeous house. I'd love to visit and see the interior. Have you been inside? Let's hope it continues to avoid being flooded..

I haven't been inside. The historic homes here are also private residences. They have many guidelines to follow to keep the homes up and rules about remodeling, too.

That is a beautiful house and appears to have been restored with great love.

Another Victorian gem, how nice to see them so well cared-for.

This home is just beautiful. Whoever restored this home must be proud of their results.
