New Sheridan Hotel and Bar

The New Sheridan Hotel and Bar were built in 1895. The reason this is called the "New" Sheridan is because the original hotel burned in 1894. The New Sheridan Hotel is part of the National Trust for Historic Hotels of America.

I love this old hotel. I stayed there for a week once back in 1982 in that far left side corner room on the third floor. It's being renovated this summer isn't it?

Wow - fire seems to have revitalized the town in the late 1800s...

Yes, the hotel is being renovated this summer! I think it is supposed to re-open in November.
